Summer is winding down and it’s almost time for the Bible challenge! The 2024 Upstate New York Apostolic Youth Bible Challenge (UNYAYBC) will take place this year at Christian Life Assembly in Syracuse, NY. We are dedicated to ensuring that our children understand the importance of taking time to study the word of God, hiding it in their hearts to keep them from sin.
What is this Event?
UNYAYBC presents young people up to age 18 with an opportunity to study the Holy Scriptures and to compete for rewards as they display their ability to recite what they have learned. As Christian leaders, we know that hiding the Word of God in their young hearts will ultimately lead them to the best rewards of their lives. This competition is a great opportunity to keep young people headed in the right direction. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Challenge Material:
Questions are generated from scriptures and basic Bible background information. The theme for 2024 is: Faith in Christ (Hebrews 10, 11, & 12). These scriptures and other basic Bible information are detailed in the UNYAYBC Study Guide.
What’s happening for 2024 UNYAYBC?
Date: Saturday, August 31st 2024
Check-In Time: 9am -10am
Challenge Start Time: 10:15am or once all participants are checked in
Participants can expect the Question & Answer material to be based on:
• Basic Bible Background information
• Questions will reference the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY related facts to the area of study in Hebrews 10-12.
Awards Ceremony will follow the challenge
Pizza & Ice Cream Fellowship for all participants directly following the awards ceremony
To Participate:
Youth from any church are welcome to participate. To participate, please be sure to complete the registration form on the following page. If your church intends to send any youth representatives to this event, he or she must be pre-registered. This allows the competition to be appropriately structured. Registrations are due by Sunday August 25, 2024.
